93 Points “The vibrancy of a cold pressed juice bar, green apple, celery and pineapple. White star jasmine, begonia and watercress. There is lemonade citrus and a hint of rose petal. Gorgeously dry and refreshing, this is more than a Skywalk, it’s a frolic through the clouds and into Riesling heaven. A tightrope of floral and fruit with lovely linear length and a crisp finish. Some of the most affordable quality Riesling in the country. Drink now and serve alongside a creamy spinach cob loaf.” Winepilot, Shanteh Wale, Nov 2023

92 Points “Opens with gentle lemon and lime talc. Supple, open knit style with wet stone…” The Vintage Journal, Oct 2023

92 Points “Named after the lookout on the side of the actual Castle Rock, the fruit is a blend from all of the estate blocks. Some pressings are included in this wine. Fermentation is in stainless steel. The colour is a near invisible, green/yellow. The nose gives us notes of minerals, florals and citrus, with the backing of river stones. We have a mix of dry herbs and garden fresh, as well. A lovely young Riesling, clean and fresh with a crisp, dry finish with decent length. Enjoy this now and for the next five years, while some of the other Castle Rock Rieslings come around, though if you prefer, this will easily do more time in the cellar.” Winepilot, Ken Gargett, Oct 2023

92 Points “The cascades of lemon and lime splice with some texture and a minerally drive make an impression early. A jasmine flower mouth perfume shakes things up a bit. Pithy with talc feels and well-handled acidity, it would certainly pass the bucket of prawns test.” Qwine Reviews, Oct 2023

91 Points “This is the entry point for Castle Rock’s rieslings, with a hint of sweetness and self-described soft acidity. Oh-so-easy to drink.” James Halliday, Oct 2023

91 Points “Pale, almost water-light colour; the aromas very fragrant, yeasty and lifted with jasmine and other tropical flowers—even a hint of lychee… A delicate and fragrant young riesling.” Huon Hooke, The Real Review, Sept 2023
